Quiet Giants Group Ltd ("we", "us", "our") is the data controller for personal information collected through this website. We are registered in England & Wales under company number 17020070. Our registered office is Suite 3 Highfield House, Congleton Road, Scholar Green, Stoke-on-Trent, England, ST7 3SY.
2. What we collect
When you contact us
If you use our contact form: your name, your company name, and your email address.
When you sign up to the newsletter
Your email address.
When you browse the site
Standard analytics data (pages visited, time on site, approximate location based on IP address, device and browser type, referring source). This is collected via Google Analytics and does not identify you personally.

3. How we use your data
- Contact enquiries: to reply to you and discuss working together
- Newsletter signups: to send you the monthly newsletter (you can unsubscribe from any email)
- Site analytics: to understand how the site is used so we can improve it
We will never use your contact details to send marketing you didn't sign up for.
4. Legal basis for processing
Under UK GDPR we rely on the following legal bases:
- Legitimate interest — for replying to enquiries you send us, and for running our business
- Consent — for sending newsletter emails (you give consent by submitting the signup form, and can withdraw it any time)
5. Who we share data with
We use the following third-party services to run our business. Each has its own privacy policy and is GDPR-compliant:
- Webflow — website hosting and form processing
- Google Analytics — anonymised website analytics
- [Email marketing platform] — newsletter delivery (replace with the service you use, e.g. Mailchimp, ConvertKit)
We never sell or rent your data to anyone.
6. How long we keep your data
- Contact enquiries: kept for as long as the working relationship continues, or for up to 3 years afterwards. If we don't end up working together, we delete contact details within 12 months unless you ask us to keep in touch.
- Newsletter subscriptions: kept until you unsubscribe
- Site analytics: retained per Google Analytics default settings (currently 14 months for event data)
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Ask what personal data we hold about you
- Correct anything that's inaccurate
- Ask us to delete your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Object to or restrict how we use your data
- Receive a copy of your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time

8. Data security
We take sensible steps to protect your data — secure passwords, two-factor authentication on critical accounts, and we only work with reputable suppliers. No system is 100% secure, but we treat your information with care.
9. International transfers
Some of the services we use (such as Google Analytics) are based outside the UK. Any transfers of your data outside the UK are made under standard contractual clauses or other safeguards approved by the UK Information Commissioner.
10. Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please contact us first so we can put it right. If you're still unhappy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date at the top.
